Policy setting: Define internet WHOIS IP ADDRESS provider

Defines the urls used to determine the internet facing ip address.

The url defines the primary whois provider used to determine the ip address.

The alternative url defines an additional provider used to increase availability and responsiveness of the whois ip lookup.

Only the default whois ip address providers are currently supported.

The default url is https://stat.ripe.net/data/whats-my-ip/data.json, with an alternative url of https://api.devicetrust.com/api/v1/whois.

Policy setting: Define internet WHOIS DNS provider

Defines the url used to determine the dns of the internet facing ip address.

The URL may contain a %IP% variable which is replaced by the internet facing ip address.

Only the default whois dns provider is currently supported.

The default value is https://stat.ripe.net/data/reverse-dns-ip/data.json?resource=%IP%.

Policy setting: Define internet WHOIS ISP provider

Defines the url used to determine the isp of the internet facing ip address.

The URL may contain a %IP% variable which is replaced by the internet facing ip address.

Only the default whois isp provider is currently supported.

The default value is https://stat.ripe.net/data/whois/data.json?resource=%IP%.

Policy setting: Define internet WHOIS COUNTRY provider

Defines the url used to determine the country of the internet facing ip address.

The URL may contain a %IP% variable which is replaced by the internet facing ip address.

Only the default whois country provider is currently supported.

The default value is https://stat.ripe.net/data/whois/data.json?resource=%IP%.

Policy setting: Interval between WHOIS updates

When ENABLED, defines an interval in seconds after which the WHOIS properties will be updated.

When DISABLED, the WHOIS properties are never updated.

The default value is disabled.

Policy setting: Enable WHOIS properties for users

Defines a list of users that will enable WHOIS properties.

This policy works together with the ‘Disable WHOIS properties for users’ policy, with disabled users taking precedence over enabled users.

Defines a list of users what will enable WHOIS properties.

User and security group names can be supplied in the format DOMAIN\UserName or DOMAIN\SecurityGroupName, where DOMAIN is either the SAM compatible domain, or the DNS domain name.

The default value includes all users.

Policy setting: Disable WHOIS properties for users

Defines a list of users that will disable WHOIS properties.

This policy works together with the ‘Enable WHOIS properties for users’ policy, with disabled users taking precedence over enabled users.

Defines a list of users what will disable WHOIS properties.

User and security group names can be supplied in the format DOMAIN\UserName or DOMAIN\SecurityGroupName, where DOMAIN is either the SAM compatible domain, or the DNS domain name.

The default value does not include any users.

Policy setting: Disable device WHOIS properties for internal users

Defines whether to disable device WHOIS properties for internal users.

This policy is only applied to Citrix and VMware users.

When ENABLED, device WHOIS properties will be disabled for internal users accessing the virtual session.

When DISABLED, device WHOIS properties will not be disabled for internal users accessing the virtual session.

The default behavior is disabled.
