deviceTRUST 19.1.300

This release contains bug fixes to the deviceTRUST Host and Client, and additional minor changes to the deviceTRUST Console.

Citrix Workspace App upgrade fix

We’ve fixed an issue with the upgrade of the Citrix Workspace App (or the older Citrix Receiver), leaving the endpoint unable to establish a Citrix ICA connection. The issue is caused by the Citrix installer removing parts of the Citrix ICA virtual driver registration. We’ve scoured the Citrix documentation and reached out to Citrix themselves, however we are confident that the deviceTRUST Client installer respects Citrix best practices.

With the severity of this problem, our only option was to monitor the registry keys and proactively fix them in the event of corruption by the Citrix installer. As a result, we have changed our existing ‘deviceTRUST Client Auto Update’ service into a new ‘deviceTRUST Client’ service which handles both the auto-update of the deviceTRUST Client and also the proactive fix of the Citrix ICA virtual driver registration.

Additional bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the Antispyware Security Product was not detected on Windows 10 version 1903.
  • Fixed an issue with the deviceTRUST Host failing to establish a connection to the deviceTRUST iOS Client.
  • Fixed an issue within the deviceTRUST Console where it was not possible to select contexts within popup menus when the number of contexts exceeded the dimensions of the console.

Known issues:

  • Windows 10 version 1903 now ships with the Remote Desktop application previously distributed through the Windows Store. This application doesn’t currently load the deviceTRUST Client. We currently recommended the traditional Remote Desktop Connection (mstsc.exe) application when using the RDP protocol.
