Silent removal of the deviceTRUST Client Extension for Apple macOS

The deviceTRUST Client extension for macOS ships with an Uninstall.app requiring input from the user to manually run the Uninstall.app. To remove the Client Extension for macOS without using the Uninstaller.app please use the following steps.

Steps to silently remove the Client Extension for macOS

Open Terminal and type the following commands:

  • cd /Library/Application \ Support/deviceTRUST/Client/Bin
  • sudo ./install.sh UNINSTALL
  • sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/deviceTRUST

This will remove the deviceTRUST Client Extension from the macOS computer.
